Spark Fun Free Day Bust

We came, we saw, we blundered. Sparkfun’s Free Day was exciting and highly anticipated. With over $100k given away in just under 1 hour and 45 minute, there were over 1,000 orders and nearly over 70,000 unique visitors!
With our fingers on the check out button we, like the other gazillion geeky-kids out there, waited with baited breath for the clock to strike 9AM MST. We were unsuccessful, but would like to congratulate those 70,000 visitors that walked away with a bit of inspiration and innovation. We’re looking forward to seeing all of your Instructables and other DIY projects!
